Hodema’s partner Nada Alameddine took part in a panel discussion organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on December 10th 2019 at Beirut Digital District. The purpose of this discussion was to share insights with around 40 companies and to discuss some of the measures and tactics they have been implementing to address the challenges of Lebanon’s economic and financial crisis.

Hodema participated in Saudi Horeca which took place from November 26th to 28th 2019 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center and moderated two round tables “The vibrant F&B scene in KSA” and “Hotels GMs debate” that were organized by SEMARK Group Hospitality News ME and Hodema.

Hodema participated in the 10th edition of Changemaker Festival which occurred on October 5th and 6th 2019 at District S in Beirut. In partnership with the Women Leaders Council (WLC) Changemaker Festival hosted thousands of students youth and women from around the region and the world and featured some of the most inspiring speakers across industries youth focused workshops band and DJ live performances a food truck line-up and competitions with cash.

Hodema participated in Horeca trade show which took place from April 2nd to 5th 2019 at Seaside Arena in Beirut. Hodema co-organized the Annual Hospitality Forum in collaboration with Hospitality News ME and moderated several panels such as hospitality vision in Lebanon the guesthouse trend in Lebanon the art of catering the rise of food and beverage funds and sustainable development in the hospitality industry.

Hodema participated in Horeca Kuwait that took place from January 14th to 16th 2019 at Kuwait International Fair. Hodema also co-organized the Hospitality Forum in collaboration with Leaders Group for consulting & development-Kuwait and Hospitality News ME gathering key players of the hospitality industry around various themes such as the rise of homegrown F&B trend and the healthy food trend in Kuwait.

Hodema co-organized with Lebanon Central Bank and Middle East Airlines the “Tone from the top regional corporate governance conference” under the Patronage and in the presence of Dr. Riad Salamé the Governor of the Central Bank on November 13th and 14th at the Middle East Airlines Training & Conferences Center. The sessions focused on the Financial services Aviation and Hospitality sectors. Nada Alameddine partner at Hodema moderated a panel entitled “Women In The Board Room and Their Impact on Governance & Performance – The Business Case” by sharing the experiences of her speakers Raya Raphael General Manager and Director of Banque Libano-Française Tamara Salha Hotel Manager at Phoenicia Hotel Beirut – InterContinental Hotels Group Merima Zupcevic Corporate Governance Program Lead for Europe and Central Asia at International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Asmahan Zein Chairperson of the Lebanese League of Women in Business. Nada Alameddine also animated a break-out session to identify recommendations for the hospitality sector.

Hodema team attended the “Salon du Chocolat” and “Beirut Cooking festival” in November 2018 at Seaside Arena in Beirut Lebanon.

Hodema visited Horeca Jordan that took place from October 9th to 11th 2018 at Zara Expo Center in Amman. This annual exhibition delivers a range of attractions competition and awards and is an ultimate platform for exhibitors and visitors to meet and share experiences.

Hodema attended the Lebanese “gastrodiplomacy” initiative in May 2018 which objective was to highlight the local cuisine and products and to promote the agro-industrial produce and restaurants in the countries hosting Lebanese Diaspora communities. The Initiative also aimed at maintaining the quality of food and services provided by Lebanese restaurants abroad.

Hodema attended the Beirut International Franchise Forum and Exhibition (BIFEX) in April 2018 at Seaside Pavilion Beirut New Waterfront. The Forum’s objective was to present new ideas technologies and innovations for Lebanese and Arab companies wishing to enhance their competitive advantages and to help Lebanon regain its prominent position as a hub for business commerce tourism and culture.

For the 14th year in a row Hodema participated in Horeca fair in Beirut which took place March 2018 at the Seaside Arena. Hodema co-organized the Annual Hospitality Forum (AHF) in collaboration with Hospitality Services gathering key players of the hospitality industry around various themes such as Hotels’ GM debate The guesthouse experience and Food & Beverage clusters.
